we must forgive

we must forgive
forget as we are able
if we want to be happy
joyful in this life

we must apologize
for the harm we have created
for the sin in our lives
for the joy we have taken

we must forgive
our enemies, our neighbors
for the harm that was created
even ourselves, as we are able

we must forget
our right to revenge
to leave to God the judgment
for the harm that was created

The first to forgive is the strongest.
