more than a baby, a Savior – v2

Christ more than a baby
more than a Savior
more than these moments
the beginning and end of His life
far more for us to remember
as He walked in life

Christ is the gate
the way to heaven
the doorway, the lantern
the light showing the way
to the Father, the pasture
to rest on the journey

Christ is the Shepherd
the guard of the gate
Christ is the path
the road to paradise
Christ is the way, the hope
for eternity, for all mankind
