Give God our bodies
our
hands and our feet
all
that we are, nothing held back
our
feet, our voices, our love
to
be Christ, the Son,
to
continue His ministry
ministers
to the whole world
reflecting
God’s love
in
mission to the earth
being
the hands of the Creator,
the
feet of the apostles,
the
voice of righteousness
for
all who are in need
Giving
God our bodies
overcoming
the darkness
light
burning bright,
to
the peoples of the world
honoring
the Great Commission
the
power in those flames,
the
Spirit alive within as on Pentecost,
to
be God’s image, His reflection
for
all mankind, for all who suffer injustice
for
all the sinners, estranged from God
in
need of healing, of life reborn
deep
within each one of us
the
stirring of the Spirit
calling
us to witness, to testify
to
announce, like John before Him
before
the Baptism of Christ
that
the Day of the Lord
is
drawing nigh, that the Kingdom comes
and
is already here
if
we give God our bodies,
our
hands and feet, our all,
and
joyfully do His will
