The Next Verse – v2

We see it on signs

held up at ballgames

“For God so loved the world…”

so is the start of that

oh so familiar scripture.

But it is the next verse,

that is our real hope.

The clear, clean voice

of God the Father

affirming the ministry

of the loving Son

On down through the generations

through all of the saints

saving us all

from our sin

by His grace alone
