Taking our youth to Babylon
far from the Temple
seeking to change them;
to praise other gods
God is jealous, righteous,
demanding our faithfulness;
love for our neighbors
and focus on our God
A pied piper, a false
prophet,
corrupting the nation’s
children;
seeking to change their
hearts
to praise other gods
A bully and a braggart,
pillaging the Temple;
taking out the sacred things
to praise other gods
Drinking from the golden
cups
that the priests used in
worship;
using the sacred things
to praise other gods
God’s hand upon the wall,
writing out His judgment;
Your time will soon be up
your candle snuffed out
An unseen evil, but seeing
a pied piper, a false
prophet;
corrupting our children’s
hearts
to praise other gods
