Treasure in Clay Jars – v3

Light of heaven

gifts of the Spirit

Placed in clay pots,

misshapen, chipped,

so badly flawed

Life-giving water

filled to the rim

Pouring out your message

God’s love, His grace, God’s gifts

placed within clay jars, treasure

Transforming us, worthy vessels

to be filled, to be emptied

Your Spirit within

Treasure in clay jars

not meant to be stored,

called to be shared, to be poured
