Fulfilling His Purpose

Christ on this morning
rising from the tomb
alive, risen, that we may live again
redeeming us of our sin
conquering death in his rising
offering us hope
a way to return to God

Fulfilling his purpose
why he descending
God walking the earth
in the flesh of mortal man
in this he was able
humble, empty, the vessel
God’s will guiding his steps
giving himself as a sacrifice
