Through the Locked Doors

Nothing could contain him
this, the risen Christ
appearing to the believers
to steel their troubled souls

Coming to them
at the empty tomb
on the road
and through locked doors

Telling them he loved them
that he truly lives
walking once more on the earth
raised from the grave for us

Rising up to glory
the risen savior living
our hands, our feet are his
going to the ends of the earth

To spread the good news
by his sacrifice, he has bought us,
victory over sin and death
we may live eternally with him
