How Christ must have felt
standing accused before the Sanhedrin
sons of Aaron, the royal priesthood
judging him by the law
yet blind to the proofs
the signs, the prophecies fulfilled
He was the Messiah,
son of the living God
They convicted him
for claiming his name
his holy divinity
Tears before the Sanhedrin
the rebellion of this people
those chosen by God
rejecting him over and over again
the leaders not believing
failing to see
though he had walked the land
showing God to them
here he was fulfilling
the sad prophecy
the Messiah having to die
to set his people free
