Unbowed to those who would oppress us
unwilling to be silenced
risking all, as our savior did
spreading the good news of God
Defeating death, forgiving our sin
reclaiming us from hell
giving us new life in him
a story for us to tell
Going to the ends of the earth
shining light into every dark place
hope for a world hurt and suffering
the good news of God’s grace
Saved by his mighty gift
something we can never repay
unearned and unmerited
proven on Easter day
