From the Waters

From the waters
the dove, the Spirit
giving him power from above
From the wilderness
the trials of his flesh
changed, steeled, to follow the path
Going to his hometown
to proclaim the fulfillment
the coming of the kingdom
the age of salvation
the Messiah come to earth
