Through the threshold of my skin
the Spirit of the living God
descending upon me
like tongues of fire
like the dove upon the Christ
Melting into me
through my life
the barriers, hurdles
I have put in the way
conforming me to his will
a struggle most every day
Changing me,
one day at a time
leading me closer to him
Guiding my walk from within
in this mortal life on earth
yoked with my savior
leading in the way of the cross
