Love to Set the Captives Free

Love to set the captives free
such is God’s grace
sent from heaven above
Christ walking with us

Dying for our sin
as the prophets foretold
going to the grave
rising on the third day

The same Spirit living
now as on Pentecost
descending like a dove
filling us with love

Going as he was sent
to set the captives free
sharing the good news of God’s love
bringing us back to him
