With the Spirit’s Power

Transformed,
no longer timid,
unknown disciples
like the shepherd before us
infused with the Spirit’s power

Changed for God’s service
taking on the yoke of scripture
fulfilling the prophets’ calling
going out into the world

The Spirit guiding
speaking from within us
changed forever
ablaze, going
messengers of God’s love
