Feeling a sense of ache, pain
something missing in this life
a hole where there shouldn’t be one
not from one point of view
Leaving when should be staying
leaning on each other
not giving in to the loss
the struggle better together
Trusting in our faith
walking together with our Lord
listening to the voice within
the indwelling Spirit of God
Yet no answers to why
none that are spoken out loud
just a deep sense of ache, pain
a hole where they shouldn’t be one
