The lessons in the scripture
what God tells us with their stories
unpredictable results
usually from ordinary people
like you and like me
With open minds and open hearts
coming face to face with their stories
the people of the bible
who follow the callings of God
Old, young, struggling
some unable to speak clearly
chosen by the Lord
to lead, to preach
to warn the people
Not what we would expect
all too human sometimes
the stories in the bible
people like you and me
called by God and answered (sometimes)
“Here I am, send me.”
