As if in the modern age
at the United Nations
the message of Christ
brought to each one of us
Hearing the translation
the disciples speaking with one voice
in each one’s own language
that all may hear the words
The separate of Babel
the tower no more
God alone bridging the gap
one people once more
Each of us chosen
all of us to hear
a message of love from the Lord
our unity restored.
