Washed by his tears,
the sweat of his years
walking the earth as a man
covered with the dust of the road
growing as the carpenter’s son
traveling on his journey
coming to the waters
to be cleaned, anointed
by the same Spirit
living within us
Anointed by the oil of his blood
his holy sacrifice, taking on our sin
climbing the cross, the lamb
emptied, humbled,
following the master’s plan
Washing us, making us whole,
cleansed by the living waters
the oil of his blood pouring down
the grace like the Spirit
landing on us bodily
Renewing us, redeemed
by the precious waters
love raining down upon us
the sweat, the tears, the blood
of our savior, our creator,
the spirit, all are one
God calling us to himself
bringing us to his courts
reconciled with all humanity
anointed by the oil of his blood

Prayer of Dedication:
“Abundant God, we thank you for the jars of our lives
that are constantly being filled. We offer our gifts to you,
that others may know of your abundance and grace.
Fill the hungry with good things. Lift up the oppressed.
Watch over the stranger and comfort the lonely.
Through our gifts, may we do likewise.
In the name of Christ the Comforter, we pray. Amen”
