Do not weep, do not cry
Christ’s comfort
for the grieving mother
no one calling him to come
God merciful, caring
acting out of love
healing her broken heart
Do not weep, do not cry
he gently said to her
touching the bier,
her son rising
through our Lord
reborn, restored
by his loving hand
