Lush Meadows

Calling me to rest
peace within him, centered
stilling myself by the waters
untrammeled by the wind
lingering, with him
in green pastures, resting
lush meadows, in your grace
with you, oh Lord, my God

For this I sing your praises
proclaiming Christ, the Good News
with him I travel
walking protected
by my shepherd
anointed for his purpose
following my savior
in him do I rest.
