Jesus revealing himself
as he walked the land
hot someone running to him
because of their belief or his fame
Seeing a mother’s sorrow
her grieving tortured walk
following her son to the grave
bearing such a cost
Going to her in her pain
telling her not to cry
in his compassion raising her son
to life once again
When their sadness turned to joy
as if through a curtain they walked
comforted through the shadow of death
healed by our savior
a gift of his grace and mercy
poured out on them that day
