Christ Alive Today

Christ alive today
because we walk the earth
risen to the heavens
and in our beating hearts

The Spirit eternal
there at the beginning
breathing with us on our walk
that we may follow our path

Christ in our actions
when we are motivated by love
sharing with others
offering help to them

Living in our day to day
when we prayer to him
when we raise our voice for justice
our lives an offering

Prayer of Dedication:
“Abundant God, we thank you for the jars of our lives
that are constantly being filled. We offer our gifts to you,
that others may know of your abundance and grace.
Fill the hungry with good things. Lift up the oppressed.
Watch over the stranger and comfort the lonely.
Through our gifts, may we do likewise.
In the name of Christ the Comforter, we pray. Amen”
