His Hands His Feet

Living out this faith
Christ is the Good News
his hands his feet
in the world
witnesses of his love
for this he came down
walking the earth as a man

Taking up our cross
each day of our lives
as did the Christ
becoming a servant for us
dying as a sacrifice
washing away our sin
rising to give us new life

Now our turn
while we have mortal breath
focused on the Spirit’s call
the word of God
living now in us
calling us to serve
spreading the Good News, the Christ

Prayer of Dedication:
“Abundant God, we thank you for the jars of our lives
that are constantly being filled. We offer our gifts to you,
that others may know of your abundance and grace.
Fill the hungry with good things. Lift up the oppressed.
Watch over the stranger and comfort the lonely.
Through our gifts, may we do likewise.
In the name of Christ the Comforter, we pray. Amen”
