For Another Age

For eternal life
for another age
this time in exile
only a preparation
this time our time
this land where we have been planted
to grow and to share
God’s love for all peoples
to share his grace
to the nations
that all would be in the harvest
singing God’s praises
that his garners would be filled
his pasture brimming
the good sheep coming
living with our shepherd
beside the living waters
sharing eternity with God
forevermore and always
