For This Season

For this season
living in this place
to show God’s mercy
His love and His grace

To serve as we are called
to do our master’s work
to follow the Shepherd
to the ends of the earth

Yet our focus more local
to raise and to prosper
our crops and our children
a gift unto the Lord

To seek the best
peace for the nation
the place of our exile
until we are called home
