Grumbling about Grace
So much we forget
looking at the ground
not looking up
to feel God all around
Our lives a joy
if we would only see
beauty all around us
if we would simply be
Rushing in this life
looking for the negative
when the grace of God
is right beside us
walking on this earth
shining down on us

Matthew 20:1-16
sermon, "Grumbling about Grace"
by Rev. Frank Gulinello
“Jesus’ parable of the laborers in the vineyard is about
a gracious God whose grace is extraordinarily and
excessively extravagant. Sometimes the
amazing grace of God causes us to grumble because
it seems to be unjust and not fair in our view of the way life should be.”
