Where He Had Put Them

God taking ownership
the cost of His judgment
speaking to the leaders in exile
where He had put them
hope in His message of love

Even in judgment
His love unending
telling of a future
in the works of His instruction

Telling the people
to building where they were planted
to grow and have children
to marry and prosper there

Only with a future
a coming back together
only in His mercy
would such a message have meaning
coming back together
a people in union
a people chosen for relationship
with almighty God
