Continue the race

God never promised the way would be easy
he promised a reward for those who follow
who stay on the path, who stay in the race
continue the race, for all you are worth
the reward, the treasure
beyond our imagination
a shimmering robe, and a crown of gold
not perishable, remaining forever
to stand in the courts
in the temple of the Lord
