Love your neighbor - Cease Fire version

God’s message whispered
may this be shouted
love your neighbor
those close by

We pray for Ishmael,
we pray for Isaac
that the brothers’ descendants
would truly know peace

May the peace brokered
be engendered
may the silence grow
the shelling ended

We pray for these comfort
safe in their beds
no more bombs landing
on innocent heads
