Choosing a different path

not looking behind her

what she had been

the names she had been called

the nature of her sin

choosing a different path

in the crucible of that moment

saving her whole family

now in the lineage of Jesus

transformed, reborn

by the choices that she made

hiding Israel’s spies

in the crucible of that moment
