A sense of vindication
of closure for the loss
me must not celebrate
no joy in the killing
in the taking of a life
If we are to be Christians
we must change our thinking
letting go of hate, anger
forgiving our neighbor
A hard lesson
hard to let go
but our healing comes
in forgiving our enemies
as Christ forgave us on the
cross
