A named member

of the family of God

we each are claimed by God

brought back into relationship

reconciled to our loving Father

as at the beginning of the world’s story

and with numbered days, known,

before we take our first breath

Never giving up on us,

truly a loving Father

never turning away

no matter what we do

Hands outstretched, reaching

for us, always

Ready when we reach,

each time we fall
