Life in the Vine – v2

We are alive, growing,

Nurtured in the vine

living, growing, bearing fruit

while connected, drawing in the water,

the branches with the stem

the roots deeply planted, anchored to the earth

to our Father God, the creation,

the good rich soil, the fertile ground

growing while part of the vine

the blood of the stem, the branches

coursing together, the Spirit,

bearing fruit for the world

not for the vine; but living

while each branch is grafted, joined,

a part of the living vine
