Wanting
to walk with Jesus
to
sit at the Master’s feet
wanting
to journey with Him
but
also to rest with Him
in
time set apart, cloistered;
but
they were distracted
caught
up in the outside world
the
winds caught them unawares
seeking
to pull them from Jesus
Knowing
how hard it is
to
not listen to the wind howling
even
the whispers difficult
to
ignore, not pay attention
May
they not be distracted
by
the wind, by the world
issues
back home
out
of their control
