walking beside Jesus
on the day of the
resurrection
later in the day
on the first blessed Easter
not able to see Christ
but drinking in the Gospel
the Good News in the Law,
the Prophets,
fulfilled in Him, all that
was promised
in the risen Savior, the
Messiah,
walking on the road with
them
revealed in the breaking of
bread
in the sharing of a meal
running back to tell them,
Christ is alive!
