Brightly colored,

beautifully wrapped

it sits waiting for us

nothing we earn

a gift from God

A gift beyond measure

given long ago, for each one,

for each and every soul

long before our birth

sitting in plain sight

Reach out, shake it,

it cannot be broken.

Open the gift, just say yes

Open the gift, now,

its wonders to behold
