Opening the Door – v2

It is a moment, an instant

of grace, transforming us

in that very second

when we accept the offer

the free gift of God

and open the door

Let the gift of God

the saving gift of love

pour into your heart

full to overflowing;

Allow Christ to enter in

into your beating heart

And, by so doing we

enter into the body

of our brother, the Christ

into the church, the Kingdom

into the House of God

just as we are
