Christ was their seminary
their rigorous, personalize training
more than apprentices,
they were getting the first-person account
of the greatest story ever told
Three years of following Jesus
of sitting at His feet
walking with Him, as He lived
fully man and fully divine
God come to earth
More than a rabbi, a teacher,
though he was that
giving them what they would need
on the job training and
walking in His footsteps
Beside the foot falls of the Savior
seeing Him in action, in love, in certainty
of His mission, His ministry
His servanthood,
even to the cross and the grave
They were witnesses, participants
disciples, and students
prepared for their ministry,
a three year seminary
unlike any other
