Tentacles of Satan – v2

Life is so full,

of temptations,

leading us, astray

away from the Father,

forgetting the love

of the Son, our Brother,

the healing of the Savior

bringing us home

to our loving Father

So easy to be led astray

to follow the will of the world

to succumb to the many faces

the tentacles of Satan,

the Tempter, leading us

to the darkness, away,

the false gratifications

the things of this earth,

fleeting and failing

None of it eternal

none of them worthy

Not lasting, like

the everlasting love of God
