A parable about Greed
the opposite of Love;
Denying our neighbors
those here on earth
Building bigger barns
tearing the old ones down;
Thinking of ourselves only
while others drown
Gorging on the excess
when the harvest came;
Others lost in world,
hungry, in pain
Happy in our sloth,
our avarice, our greed;
Hate for our brothers,
our sisters in need
