Remembering the Story – v2

in ancient words now to us

but words in that moment

new words to them

remembering the story

the words Christ spoke to his friends

changing the ancient words

in the upper room that night

doing strange things

breaking the bread

not following the Seder

speaking of a new covenant

the words of Jeremiah

in His body, and His blood.
