more than a stencil
a cloth, a skin
a tattoo on the inside
longer needles
ink on the heart
deeper, deeper
pain in the cutting
permanent scarring
the soul, the canvas,
each chapter in life
a story written
on pages, cut within,
written, deeper,
no repair to the skin
ink written, permanent,
deep, on the inside
leaving scar tissues
never to heal,
to be changed, softened
a tattoo on the inside
upon my heart
