great sorrow as He walked
from the Last Supper
through the city,
Jerusalem,
by the Temple Mount
through the Kidron Valley
up the Mount of Olives
to the garden, Gethsemane;
to be betrayed, deserted,
denied
by His best friends.
great sorrow as He walked
from the Last Supper
His fate awaiting
in the garden that night
Judas already ran away
they would soon desert Him
to the garden, Gethsemane;
to be betrayed, deserted,
denied
by His best friends.
