Christ was preaching;

His ministry not complete,

His message everlasting.

even from the cross

Christ was teaching;

showing us the Father

His infinite love.

even from the cross

His ministry continued;

remaining the servant

even unto death.

even from the cross

so much to tell us;

the seven last words

were His final sermon.
