in a twinkling an image
a whisper of a place
in my mind, yet real,
at the end of a dock,
sitting with Jesus
our feet dangling
into the water
feeling its warmth
looking over His left
shoulder
speaking to me,
“its okay, I am here with
you;
rest awhile, just soak it in,
the beauty all around us.”
