Down the Mount of Olives
after Mary’s anointing
the nard brushed on His feet
to prepared Him for the
journey
Down the Mount of Olives
to the shouts of “Hosanna!”
palms put at His feet
for His triumphal entrance
Down the Mount of Olives
back into the city
to teach the people
about God’s true nature
Down the Mount of Olives
in chains after His betrayal
crying for the people
these children who were lost
Down the Mount of Olives
for His mock trial
the mob soon to cry out,
“Crucify! Crucify Him!”
