I know God
knows my thoughts,
my prayers
before they are born.
He knows
the number of my days.
The Spirit
dwelling within me
fills in
the words, my thoughts,
prayers when
words won’t come.
I wonder if
I should pray aloud, out loud,
speaking
the words of my prayers
as if to
God it is singing,
the melody
of our prayers and
the
libretto of our petitions
raised up
to the heavens.
Does God
long to hear us,
our
thoughts, our desires,
the words spoken
out loud
the prayers
to Him spoken?
Our hope is
in His answers,
in the
promise of God.
