The rich stark colors
vivid in the season
God’s artistry so evident
in His palette of autumn
Bright lines of color
ablaze, alive, shimmering
calling to us, to see, to
hear God’s call
in the autumn’s palette
Layer upon layer, living hue
upon hue
all of them shouting Your
praises
all of creation singing one
song
to You the Creator of the
universe
Proclaiming Your majesty, Your
grace
showering this beauty on the
world
knowing You in this season
more than others
that like the leaves, in
their perfection
Singing to You at the end of
this life
in dying our victory,
eternally
to see You in the courts of glory
new life, for eternity
