For the sick, in body, in spirit,
joys, celebrations, concerns
cries in the sanctuary,
in prayers spoken,
in the silent prayers we carry
a long list, both joys, aches,
sighs without words.
But more still, visits,
calls, cards, connections
remembering those missing
gone from within our midst
lives touched, caring, healing
with the presence of our members
reaching out to those who are sick
