We are all, each of us, sent, a seed sown,
a priesthood commissioned, empowered
sent out into the world, a witness, a sheep
emboldened by the spirit
to bear the light of Christ
to the ends of the earth
to make disciples, other sheep,
into the sheephold,
other grain into the garner,
other fruits, abiding in the vine
sharing the father’s love,
the story of the son’s sacrifice
the amazing grace of God
abundant grace
proclaiming the wonder
the saving of the nations
sent to spread the good news
of his coming and his return
